Prior to joining AFIG, Mr. Daniel was based in Lagos, Nigeria, where he served as an Equity Research Associate at Oceanic Capital, the investment banking subsidiary of Oceanic Bank International, Plc. During his tenure at Oceanic, Mr. Daniel initiated coverage of several listed Nigerian companies, and was actively involved in the direction of the firm’s sell-side research efforts. Mr. Daniel began his career on Wall Street as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Global Industrial & Services Group of Credit Suisse in New York. In this role, he was involved in several M&A and financing transactions on behalf of the firm’s clients across a range of industries. Mr. Daniel graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2006 with a B.S. in Mathematics from Claflin University in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He is a citizen of Ghana.
