Prior to joining AFIG, Mr Diagne was based in Montreal, Canada where he served as a Financial Analyst Assistant in the strategic partnership team at Cadim – a Real Estate Division of the Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec. During his tenure at Cadim, Mr Diagne was responsible for the follow-up of a 1 billion USD line of loans attributed to debt partners, conducting research and market studies on equity investment sectors as well as analyzing the 7 partner’s financial statements. Mr Diagne began his career as an Accountant Associate at Performa, a Mutual Fund subsidiary of the Standard Life Group. Mr Diagne graduated with a B.A in Finance from the MBA Institute – Paris International Business School. He holds both Canadian and Senegalese citizenships.
