Ecobank Rwanda is a universal commercial bank based in Kigali, offering a wide range of financial services to individuals and businesses. Ecobank entered the Rwandan market in 2007, with the acquisition of Banque de Commerce, Développement et Industrie (“BCDI”).

In 2010, AFIG Funds entered into an agreement with the pan-African banking group Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (“ETI”) for a USD 14 million investment in three ETI subsidiaries located in Chad, Rwanda and Liberia.
